The Dog & Gun pub is a small cosy welcoming country local in the delightfully unspoilt village of Keyham, just 5 miles from the city of Leicester and within easy access of Oakham in Rutland, Melton Mowbray and Uppingham.

Refurbished in a tasteful and thoughtful style in 2004 we are very much a village local that serves good honest pub food with a smile.

We pride ourselves in offering a good range of cask conditioned ales, reasonably priced fine quality wines and value for money home-cooked and traditional meals.

Keyham is a great walking base from which to explore the local countryside and ramblers, dog walkers and horse riders are most welcome.

Trevor & Yvonne have been running the Dog & Gun for six years and have over 25 years combined experience in the licensed trade.

The pub’s location makes it a superb meeting point whether it be for a business meeting, ramble or a get together with family & friends.
